Congratulations Cheryl Morgan and Andrea Boyle on your full-ride scholarship win (Regt’n, Travel & Accommodation) to ALA’s Regional Conference this fall.  Cheryl won, by random draw of those in attendance,  at the Firm Leaders Luncheon on February 9th and Andrea won hers yesterday at the AGM.  We can’t wait to hear whether they pick Nashille or Las Vegas.

The Executive Board has reviewed the CALA Scholarship offering and has elected to 1) increase the scholarship to $600.00 (from $400) to accommodate for rising ALA conference registration fees and/or accommodate for US currency exchange and 2) extend the scholarship to include ALA ‘Specialty’ Conferences that have previously been excluded from the scholarship offering.
